I have a ringtone that is only a few seconds long. Is there a way to set the tone so that it repeats continously, aka so it loops? Or can someone help me out and edit the mp3 to make it about 3-4x the lenth it currently is with the sound just repeating over and over?

You can find and download any one of several audio editor softwares like audacity and do that yourself. Very easy... then upload it to a website somewhere, visit it from your BB browser, save, BAM you got it on your phone just like you want.

Well, the problem is that your ringtone should not be bigger than 512kB and therefor it will not be able to make it loop forever ;)

Regarding ringtone playback length, is looping it yourself generally how it's done? I have noticed by tiny 3 second ringtones only seem to play once, and only after about 3-4 seconds when the phone detects a call, definitely not enough time for me to hear it and react. I am comfortable editing audio, so should I actually just loop the 3 second blurb and make it repeat itself across the span of 10 seconds so that it actually sounds like it's looping when the phone rings? Seems kinda silly, surely theres a built in looping function for ringtones? Especially since whenever you browse the factory installed ringtones they all loop on their own.
