I have both the 8800 and the 8320, through T-Mobile, and to be honest I prefer the 8320. As you have alerady mentioned, the major difference is the GPS radio in the 88xx series which is one that I like not only because it's easy to use but for the sense of safety of knowing where you are and how you need to get where your going. Forget it. Using Google Maps, which is free, it can get a relative loctaion based on Cell Tower triangulation with BlackBerry's without a GPS radio. In most cases, it has been able to pinpoint my location or the closest street to me. The GPS radio in my 8800 never could lock on when I'm at work, it fail as soon as I entered the building. Right now, with my 8320 and Cell Tower triangulation, it has my location and it's as exact as far as I can tell. As long as you have a decent signal then there isn't a problem. If you vist locations that have spotty coverage or need that extra security, pick up a GPS puck for under $100. The external GPS pucks are better than the internal varients primarily because of power contraints. Not only that, an external will not drain your Blackberry's battery if you forget to turn it off (Bluetooth is always on for me) and most pucks last 10hrs while on. On another note, the Curve has the most recent firmware (released or beta) and if you have the possibility of upgrading your phone with T-Mobile, it's only $249.99 after the pesky MIR. Oh almost forgot that it has a nice 2MP camera too. And video recording is capable with beta OS 4.5 as my bro keeps reminding me.
