is there an easy way to zoom out after you've zoomed in? I know sometimes hitting the back button does it, but sometimes it goes back a page. Doesnt seem to be too consistent. I wish there was an easy way to zoom out to full screen shot again.

I just installed Beta 2...I can definitely tell its improved for simple things such as Yahoo. I also like the smaller text.

Duh! Thanks

Is the spacebar working for you as a way to scroll down? I thought it was supposed to do this but it just moves the cursor a step to the right for me.

Is everyone SOO sure that this cannot be done? Did anyone check in Settings > and UNCHECK fit to width? Then also for check-marking Landscape Mode? I can do this on my K790 ... but is the limitation with Opera Mini OR with the BB device/OS? Is there ANY application that turns to landscape mode available on the BB platform? Hmmm. I don't know of any.

iPhone- esque? you GOTTA be kidding me. Someone else at least mentioned what this kind of browsing technology was based on - Safari but its NOTHING like it. Its never been used on Safari until recently. Apple created the Nokia OSS browser and debuted on Nokia's new S60 3RD edition devices over a year ago. (N71/N80/N90/N92/N93/N95/N77/N73/N76/N81/ E61/E61i/etc etc).

I get the feeling that manu BB users have NEVER used a smartphone of ANY kind before - and they do NOT realize what is STILL missing on the BB platform. But thats another topic.

Opera Mini is GREAT! I am DESPERATELY seeking another BNIB BB Pearl or Curve for cheap here in Toronto. Going to the Rogers store is just a rip-off. I shouldn't have never sold my BB.

It's stated in their info that landscape is not available for the BB yet.

Lol, everyone's an expert. And in your case a tad presumptuous. You get the point.....this isn't hard science, it's casual tech info. If you want me to explain the Tri-Chromatic effect and the exact workings of rods and cones, or debate the minutia of String Theory or the Singularity then we can do that. Otherwise, loosen your collar a little, remove the pocket protector and attempt to just enjoy life a little. And, yes you're catching some pent up annoyance. Sometimes it's like a group of techno-geeks running rampant here trying to prove who may be the most knowledgeable and be pinpoint accurate down to the most infinitesimal aspect of gadgetry.

Unhappy Cannot connect

I have an 8100 model with T-Mobile's $19.99 bb plan and my Opera Mini cannot connect. It goes through the initial screen and says its installing, then says it can't connect. Do i need to change the TCP settings or something?

Do you have it set to full screen mode? If so, uncheck that.

Thanks everyone, yes the "5" works. Also, in Beta 1 I believe "o" and "p" brought up menus but in Beta 2 they don't (that I can tell) even though the features on Opera's website say they do? "W" brings up a menu but not "o" and "p".

Has anyone else got these to work?

Tony
