I love the "local search" function on BB Maps but now I'm forced to use google maps which to mean is inferior (for that function).

However, I cannpt get the "local search" function on BB Maps to start.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

the one particular "local search" function is what I'm talking about on BB Maps. On Google Maps, it's called "search map".

Not a solution - just company in / confirmation of your problem. "Local Search" in BB Maps does not work for me either (5.0.0.405) - but then I'm on AT&T and more thankful it works at all.
