It came back finally I was getting a little worried though. After upgrading, opera mini is completely ruined for me though. It changed the entire keyboard layout for browsing and won't let me select anything with the trackpad. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, downloaded the new beta and even downloaded an old version and its the same on all of them. So right now I'm using Bolt which is an acceptable stand-in but I really want opera back the way it used to be. :(

Here's a zip file that contains the original Opera Mini 5 Beta. It works just fine with .351. Use DM to install it. Make sure you uninstall any currently installed versions first.

Hi,
I am new to BB (just got the 9700), and would like to ask how can I download the Multilanguage to Mac. Without this package, the BB 9700 is useless for me. I can connect the BB to windows, but then I have a problem with transferring the address book to outlook.
Any help?
Thanks a lot

thanks, but I think it is better to use BB with VMware
From what I have seen so far, it is better to use the BB with Windows (its not an Iphone). Since I have both, I will stick to bill gates, even though Microsoft sucks...

That's because it has a lot of languages available. When I ran the upgrade, after I selected what I wanted, it said the total size required was 93mb.

At the risk of thread crapping, how's .405 working for you? I did the D/L but haven't installed it yet.
OS v.351 is solid and well-functioning for me.

Just got a 9700 yesterday and it came with 330 from T-Mobile. What is better or different in this latest version? Is it worth upgrading? Are there release notes somewhere?
Thanks,
RA

I just installed this update without a hitch. It was fast too. About 20 minutes I think. This is just a beautiful piece of gadgetry. I'm in love!

Message List Option
Can someone please verify if the Message List Option is on this version. Messages>Options>Message List Options.
Thank You!

It is not, but I still don't see the use for it. I think the Messages folder should be removed from the device completely. I like having a separate icon for each email account.

Like you I prefer to have seperate icons for each email account, but because I am a BES user it helps me to seperate my personal emails from the messages folder which the BES current utilizes.

aint it cool? i absolutely love this device. everytime i get a new phone, i tell myself there is nothing thats going to take me away from what i just got, but i seriously think im there with the 9700 (unless, of course, rim comes out with a storm that has a sliding screen with a full kb... then ill get that one! haha) and, to be honest, im not sure why they havent done that yet. they keep coming out with similarly featured devices with 2g-->3g upgrades, screen size changes, better cameras, but it seems no real form factor or major hardware changes of late.

Arr - doing this and getting that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. The process seems to be stuck about 75% of the way through "Loading module net_rim_bb_phone_resource.cod". Up to that point everything was going very very quickly ...

And that sinking feeling was warranted. Three reinstalls of the Handheld software, a second download of the Handheld software and finally moving to another computer to do the install after what seems like countless wipes and starting over I am finally up and running on this version.
