Rogers pretty much blows chunks for rate plans. You might as well just bend over when you get a Rogers phone.

Although, I do have to give them [a little] credit for their new Flex BlackBerry plans.

Boy I probably speak 250 in a single day. I don't know now you survive bro. Why is it that you are always encouraged to do with less in Canada, as opposed to be given incentives to grow...

I love my plan with T-Mobile.... For the record I do not talk on the phone very much and do most of my communicate via text messages & blackberry messenger....

Blackberry was offering the plan I have for a limited time and I guess I just got in on it before it ended about 2 years ago....

It's called Blackberry Minutes & Mail... I pay $59.99 a month for 1000 minutes (no free minutes at any time) and unlimited data (internet, email, texts, etc).... My bill after taxes comes to $67/month and it's perfect for me... Not too high.... I probably only talk a maximum of 200 minutes a month and that would be pushing it....

I pay around $230 per month for 3000 minutes on the TMO family plan with 5 phones. Three of the phones have data plans. Two are blackberries, 1 at $19.95 per month unl data (old rate) and the other at $24.95 unl data. Also one G1 at $24.95 per month unl data. I have unl messaging for all five family plan phones at $9.99 per month, so two bucks per phone, that's a sweet deal from when they first offered it. None of these rate charts being posted look like they would save me any $$$. Sigh.

In India, on Vodafone. I pay Rs. 1,099 (~$20 USD) for unlimited data. My voice plan is entirely separate, I can choose any. The one I'm on costs me Rs. 1 per minute to any phone nationwide, and texts are Rs. .50 for local texts and Rs. 1 for national. Rental for voice is Rs. 350 (~$7 USD)

My average monthly bill (and I'm a pretty heavy user, albeit with limited international calls) is Rs. 3,500 (~$70 USD)
And oh yeah, incoming calls and texts are completely free. We have nice rates here.

In India as well, on Airtel.

I pay Rs. 899 ($18 USD) for unlimited data and web access. My voice plan is Rs. 444 (about $9 USD), which gives me 444 national minutes free and 444 SMS texts free.

After that, nationwide calling is at Rs. 0.50/minute and SMS texts are at Rs. 0.50/sms.

My monthly bill is around Rs. 2000 ($40 USD).

And of course, as has been mentioned earlier, all incoming texts and calls are free.

Oh and btw Aditya, you can call up Vodafone and negotiate your BB rate down to Rs. 899. As per my knowledge, all old rates (Rs. 1099) have been revised to Rs. 899. You just have to talk to them. Because I am on the enterprise plan (BES + BIS) and I pay only Rs. 899.

I pay $50/month for unlimited minutes, long distance and roaming within the USA. I pay $20/month for unlimited data in the USA. I don't have a SMS plan. On the rare occasion I send or receive a txt, I think it now costs me .20.

If you get unlimited data why wouldn't that include texts (SMS's)??? I have unlimited data and can send and receive as many as I want.... Did you mean to type MMS in your above post (typo)?
