Thanks for posting these, but it should be L to reply to all.

Anyone know a shortcut to go to saved messages?

Also, the bksp/del key from the message list deletes the selected message for me. Esc goes to the next open application...is that what you meant?

Default Corrections.

Saved messages used to be V but it is NOT on the 8700. I changed backspace to escape which is what it should have been. I updated reply to all as well.

Default Shortcut to send

I have never seen that on a BB. Would be a nice touch.

Here's a new one... From the message list, the red hang-up button seems to go to the home screen...

The red hang-up button takes you to the home screen from ALL applications, not just messages

So if I understand there is not a shortcut for sending an email? Must use trackwheel?

Wirelessly posted (7100g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/5.1.2.9)

There is no short cut for sending emails that I know of.

I think that the 'feature' that requires users to click the trackwheel is a safety thing. I can only imagine some of the emails I would have accidentally sent had I been able to send via one click. Sometimes convenience can be dangerous.

"• i: show folders" I believe is actually not that, but is to file messages. At least on a BES anyway... I really doubt it works differently on a web client.

Default I is Inbox

I now think it stands for inbox with teh ability to file the message in folders. I have edited all of my prior shortcuts and will post them later in the week after I can get the changes made and edited. These will include all shortcuts from the 8700 that leverage off my prior shortcut lists from my 7280 and 7100.

So you can also add these to your list.

Alt-U in the message window marks the highlit e-mail(s) as read or unread, (toggle function).

"H" in the message window will toggle between showing or hiding filed messages.

"C" in the message window = compose new message...

There are others, but they skip my old & tired mind for now...time for a very long vacation (no blackberry!)

Stinsonddog, you have the info in the thread but you might want to add the delete/back aroow to delete a message to the listing above. I find that one of the handiest since I disable the confirm. You have to be careful you don't delete something you wanted to keep but it makes it fast and easy.

On my 8700f pressing "n" and "p" from the default messages view take me too the next day and previous day category not a message. So I can just jump from one days messages not to individual messages in that day. Any thoughts?
