I should not do anything before getting my coffee and muffin. Same thing happened with the toner cartridge, you know the note that says "shake toner cartridge BEFORE pulling out the tab" .

Gotcha!

It's loading on my BB now ... let's see how this goes. A couple weeks ago my BBM just randomly quit working and all the stuff I did was not effective to get it going. Perhaps this will do that trick.

Pulled from the more common site, but still available at others. Google makes it easy...

I'd prefer a nice warm choco-chip muffin actually.

Does 5.0 looks much different from 4.6?

Wirelessly posted (8900)

Installed .100 last night, posting this now from it. Overall it feels good, although I DO miss FB.

I've already noticed a couple of differences, such as the menu options when you go to select a profile - definitely an improvement, with more control over vibrate as well.

Appears to be several subtle chgs, all improvements from what I see. Much as I miss having FB here, I think it's worth sticking with this ver.

I've used youtube with .100 a few times and it seems fine - at least over a wifi UMA connection.

I DID see a new issue: seems that links embedded in HTML emails aren't always treated at such and are not clickable...

Just wondering if some of these programs work on 5.0. Like opera mini. Bolt. Google maps. Myspace. Capture it. Jabplite. Aim. Can't really think of anything else.

Interesting ... I only have this issue when I e-mail myself a link from my work e-mail. If I go to the menu and select 'Get Plain Text' it makes the link clickable. Just thought I'd toss that out there.

Meanwhile, I am quite pleased with .100 because my BBM is working again. For a couple weeks I couldn't send messages via BBM, just receive them. It was super weird. Just a spontaneous glitch that I couldn't fix otherwise on .93. Seems snappier overall. I've been using it since Friday night, I think. This seems like a nice solid build. I'll stick with it for a while.

After a weekend running 5.0.0.100, I wont be downgrading.

It works well and all the programs Ive used are functional (Viigo, YellowPages, Poynt, GoogleMaps).

There are a few minor issues I pointed out in an earlier post in this thread, but besides them I havent come across any new ones.

I had one reset out of nowhere but nothing else negative to report.

Something else i just noticed is that messenger keeps significantly less history than it did in .266. Approx 1/5 as much.

If you have music playing or even paused in the background, none of your notification sounds will play. When you go in to edit the profile and click the Try button, it says invalid ringtone. I stopped the paused music and everything worked as normal. Definitely annoying but I'll just have to make sure I stop my music when I'm not listening to it. For now.
