Default Sms Full

Please Login to Remove!

every time i get a txt i keep getting a msg saying to delete some old ones bc of memory, never had this problem on any other phone and i have it set to save forever.... is there something i can do to fix this?

Where are you saving the txt's? There is a setting for whether to store on SIM card.

However, regardless of where you save them, the space is finite.

im not sure where to check this setting, but i did a device switch wizard... so ALL settings should be the same... i would think

On my 9000, its under Options > SMS Text > Leave Messages on SIM card = Yes or No

I don't see anything like that on my 9930. Perhaps they've removed that option. I looked in general Options as well as Options within messaging.

Some doing a device switch with the DM have reported problems regarding SMS memory limits, no one is sure why. Saving them to your SIM should solve this issue.

Go Into your Text Messaging and hit the BB button and choose Options.
Scroll down to the SMS section and check 'Leave Messages on SIM Card:

Should work.

now it says my bbm and sms are full and im missing sms messages .... like i dont get them ahhhhhhhhh

What do u mean file.....onbord storage is 6.2GB application is 160mb
