i want to how can make sure when a message comes in jive talk it plays and tone so that i know somone have send me a message in the holster and outside a holster ?

if you go into your profile there should be the option to change this

yeah i have check the options but there is nothing in there that says i can make it to tone or anything like that

It's not in the options of JiveTalk, it is in your sound profiles for the blackberry itself.

Not in the JiveTalk options, but rather in your device Profiles (ringtone selection and such) -- you'll see entries for JiveTalk (Buddy Pounce, New IM While Active, New IM While Active) for each profile.

If it doesn't work, then you don't have the profile settings edited correctly.
