I had a play with a prototype a little while ago. It is much slimmer than the 7100g. Other than that, its basically got all the 8700g goodies in a 71XX series format like bright screen, intel processor etc.

I think I may have just found my weekend alternative to my 8700 pending the price....

Nice, I like very much! I really like the key spacing, too. Much better than the cramped keys on my 7100!
