read here somewhere there may be a version coming to sprint soon,,, any info??? i know the att one is gsm, don't know much abt that stuff but i would guess a cdma torch isn't hard to build...

Any possibility you could point to the source of this information as no one has heard about a CDMA 9800, or any device running QNX (except the PlayBook).

Highly doubtful that a 9800 will hit the CDMA carriers (Verizon or Sprint). The Storm 3 is rumored to be on the way (again) but that is all.

Other rumors point toward QNX being OS 7, but nothing to confirm that either.

thnx 4 the input guys,,, not sure where i read abt a slider (maybe not the 9800 exactly) coming 2 sprint but i do know it was in a post on bbf somewhere,,, i was a little tired @ the time, not too helpful i know,,, i'll see if i can find it,,, as 4 running qnx, that's just wishful thinking,,, any idea how long it would take 2 implement that?

I don't know if it will. I know the rumor is that Sprint will get the new 9800 Slider towards the end of the year. I hope so. I love BB, but my wife just got the Evo and its very tempting to jump ship after messing with her phone a little.
