A couple of questions about the leaked OS. I have a hybrid OS installed now do I need to upgrade to the official version first (if not required is it adviseable one way or the other)?

Has anyone installed it so I get some feel for its value or content?

I haven't installed it yet, will do after a while.
You can install this beta OS without upgrading to an official OS version.

Did update on my Storm2, went smoothly,no issues encountered. interface is pretty much same as .607 for US, but this one added Asia languages input.

I've installed now, no problems, the on-call phone buzz problem still exists.

What is the "on-call phone buzz" problem?

It's detailed in the .713 thread, but while on a call, the Storm2 user hears a buzz, occurring primarily when both parties attempt to speak at the same time. It sounds like sort of an electronic low-toned buzz in the ear... "blaaaatttt".

You are right. I was from .517, now i had the call issue as you described, plus all the issues related with .607. Seems to me, the .517 is most trouble free OS so far.

If I go back to .517 what features or fixes do I not have? Also, what is the problem with the OS between .517 and .713?

I did not ask my question properly. What issues are there with .607 and does it have the buzz problem?

I've never had the on-call buzz issue until this update. I've used every single beta release up until this one.

An additional problem that I noticed is that when playing back songs with album art, if you touch the screen to make the playback bar disappear, you get flickering, until you press the screen again to get the playback bar displayed.
