Hi,
I am pretty new to BB. I was trying to upgrade my BBM version 2 days ago so I went to BB appworld using my BB. I selected download BBM and it kept showing loading since 2 days ago. I tried taken out my battery turn on/off many times and every time, the loading screen is still there. I don't know what to do to force quit the app world to download. It seems like it got hung up and freeze on me or something. What should I do?

AppWorld Hangup
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and press "RST"
3b. For Storm -- Hold the num-lock ("!?123") button so it locks and then hit "34("
4. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot

Thank you so much for a quick reply. I tried what you suggested and it did quit the screen. So now when I went back to My World, I saw that BBM is installed so I click on it (Because I still don't see BBM anywhere on my home screen or menu). And it kept showing loading non stop again. When I clicked on other app I have on My World, it was fine. Those other apps showed me info etc about the app and not just the loading screen. Do you know how I can fix it? I tried to click download new from appworld but I guess because BBM is already in My App as installed, it just brought me to My App page.

Do you have any suggestions on what I should do?

Go to Options > Advanced > Applications and scroll the Messenger application and don't click on it, just scroll to it. Click Menu > Delete and remove the application.

Now, do a reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Finally, use your BlackBerry browser to go to BlackBerry Messenger and download/install the Messenger application again.

After installation and possibly another reboot, check your Instant Messaging Folder, or Downloads folder for the application.
