Lots of news in the BlackBerry world today, but BBM coming to WP8 is probably the biggest story today. I'm excited to finally get the rest of my family on BBM. Windows Phone and Nokia X to get BBM in Coming Months | Inside BlackBerry

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
It would be great if they expand this to include all Windows8 devices.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
I feel like this forum should be buzzing with activity today. There is a lot of news from BlackBerry coming out this morning. Anyway, I'm sure BBM on WP8 will be a big success.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
xBBM had buzz the first couple of weeks. Then, naturally, it died down.
It is another IM in a crowded field.
Buzzing? Nope...
Why do you think BBM will be a big success on WP8? Aren't there plenty of other messaging products out there?

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
I was talking about bbf in general, with all the news coming from Barcelona today. Anyway, I think BBM will be successful, especially on WP8, if they can bring it to the desktop soon.

I'd like to be signed in with more than one device at a time.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
Agreed, and that's where BBM for desktop would come in.

Something we all should remember - it was only worth $19B because someone wanted to buy it. BBM isn't worth anything until someone wants to buy it.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
Works for me.
Next think you know there will be a BlackBerry with a trackpad. The shame. The horror.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
If they could just bring the features to what they already have...they think the trackpad is going to save them? Just bring back my custom profiles for pete's sake. 10.2.1 is close but it's not quite there yet.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
When BBM came out cross-platform, my reaction was "who cares?" But I have it on my iPhone and it's really pretty great, especially delivered/read indicators. It was always fast on BlackBerrys and I'm happy to see it's also slick on other devices. Clean interface too.

Re: BBM Confirmed for WP8 Devices
I have slowly been adding BBM contacts since last year. With this, I could add quite a few more, as most of the family use Lumia phones.
