I have a friend that lives up in Toronto, he is going to buy me a bold but will I be able to unlock it?? is it possible that rogers locked the pin and if so, can it be unlocked?? thanks in advance...

Yes, it can be unlocked. It's all over this forum for the "source" of unlocking the Bold and others. At this point I don't believe it has been "officially" confirmed that it's PIN locked in the US. If it has been confirmed and I haven't seen the confirmation, please advise.
