Default 9930 Display Too Sensitive

Please Login to Remove!

The cursor on my 9930 now is unusable outside. It bounces all over the place and I cannot get it to stay stable long enough to unlock the phone. This happens even in the shade.

Is this a situation that I can change with a parameter, does the phone have to be repaired, etc.? Help!

That does not solve this problem. When I called Verizon on this they said that Blackberry recognized this as a problem and would be supplying an update to address this. But, the Verizon representative was unable to give me a timeframe.

If this was a known issue it would have been listed on the Blackberry support site. I suspect this is either a defective phone or the Verizon rep was clueless and got you off the phone. I searched other forums and did not see this issue. I would call back to Verizon and talk to someone higher. If the phone is guaranteed push harder

Zombieberry stated at the end of 2012:
Reports have been made that state sometimes, (in sunlight), the screen and/or cursor seem to act a little funky.
That's what is happening to me.

Could be, I could not find anything. Maybe someone will offer some additional info.
