Delete more? Delete some applications you no longer use.

Do a battery pull.

With your phone turned on, remove the battery. Leave it out for 30 seconds and then pop it back in. Your phone will turn back on when the battery is reinsterted.

What os did you upgrade to?

You can downgrade back to what you had before. (There is an FAQ with instructions.)

"everything [was] getting deleted off [my] phone" is a major symptom of lack of memory. To keep itself alive when memory gets low, the BB OS starts deleting logs, SMS/MMS messages, email... sounds like you had the issue before you upgraded the OS.

How many apps have you installed?

Take a look at this thread for some possible solutions:

well thats why i upgraded, the verizon people told me that in order to stop the deleting, i had to upgrade. so i did, and now theres like 0 file space. i was still able to take pictures and store them while everything else was getting deleted.
