I have a 7290, running 4.0 that is managed by a BES 3.8 server (along with Consilient 2) that auto locks (password protects) my device 15 minutes inactivity

When the device is in password protect mode, I'm able to answer calls from my Bluetooth Paired device, but am unable to place any calls using the BMW Stored Phone numbers
If I unlock the device, I can dial out

Is there a setting that can be set on the Server to enable a bluetooth paired Hands free device to place a call even when the device is locked ?

I use a 7100t with a BMW 5 series I noted that the phone treats the car no differently from an ear piece. So I would not expect different behavior. In fact I called BMW and said bb. Are not supported.
