Default blackberry restarts for no reason

Please Login to Remove!

ok I've started having a problem with my BB8900 it seems to restart for no apparent reason the same way as if the battery was pulled. I've read that it might of had the problem when receiving too much at one time or something like that but when its been doing it i wasn't even using the phone so I'm confused on what may be the problem my first thought was, it may have too many apps and its taking up space but i haven't installed any new apps and it would have been acting up. any suggestions welcome. thanks

I'm having the same issue with my 8330. It's only happened a couple of times, but I've caught it showing a white screen with a turning hour glass, as if I'd done a battery pull. Hopefully one of the gurus can help...

My son just had that with his 8330, too. It would just reboot while he was holding it, when he'd press a key, when he'd set it down, etc. I believe it's a hardware issue and we had it replaced (the day after we got it).

I had that issue yesterday with my Blackberry Storm 9500 (Vodafone). No idea about the reason, seems like operator issue to me...

Default same problem now fixed

I had the same problem with my tmo 8900 and I had the same OS as you. Tmo sent me a new phone and it still did it. They had me try a bunch of things that didn't work and even sent me a new battery thinking maybe it had a bad internal connection but it still rebooted. A friend of mine suggested upgrding to the newest OS at the time (4.6.1.250) and it hasn't rebooted since. Search for that OS and try it out. Hopefully this will fix it for you.

Same issue. Sprint Cleared everything. Not a memory problem. Latest software. Barely any apps. Battery fits tight. Plus between my wife and I we have been through 8 8330's. So what is the problem. No one seems to know.
