Default ProfilerPRO Help!

Please Login to Remove!

So I just downloaded ProfilerPRO today and so far I cant get it to work.

I created a test profile to start at "Normal" (starting a couple of minutes from when I set it up), and five minutes after that, go to "Loud" to make sure it was working. Let me just say now, I made sure, and double and triple checked, that all permissions were set to "Allow".

After the time elapsed, I checked my phone (I had looked away for a minute, so I didn't see what it did... stupid News) and ProfilerPRO says that it is on "Loud", but the Blackberry profile menu still says "Normal". Whats the deal?

Have you removed the battery after installing? This is one of my favorite apps but it does require a reboot after installation and permissions are edited.

I just noticed your profile says you're on a BES. This app requires Keystroke Injection to be allowed. Is that allowed in your permissions? Most BES's don't allow this, although occasionally it can be worked around.

It does? I am?

If I am, I didn't know it. I thought BES was for Corporate used Blackberrys, which mine is not. But I set the permissions to allow everything (Under Options -> Advanced -> Applications ... everything I'm allowed to allow is allowed...LOL).

Ok, someone suggested I try the beta version...so upgraded to that and did another test. Watched the screen pop up like it wanted to switch profiles, but it didn't. The ProfilerPRO icon did, though... so currently my phone is set to "Loud" but ProfilerPRO says "Normal".

All permissions are allowed, and after upgrading to the beta I did do a battery pull for almost 2 full minutes.

wadergirl : Can you please double check the permissions for "Keystroke Injection" as suggested by JC.

Options > Applications > ProfilerPro > Edit Permissions > Interactions (highlight and expand) > Input Simulations > ALLOW

As they behaviour you are describing is normally when its not set to allow.

Did another battery pull now after confirming that all permissions, including Keystroke Injection, are set to allow, and double checked by a third-party (my b/f). Will do another test and see.

Ok... phone was set to "Normal" to start with. The start time had the program switch to "Loud" and end time back to "Normal". Switched to "Loud" just fine, did not switch back to "Normal".
