Loaded 210 and could not get WiFi to connect through my router to the internet. Connected to the router ok. Downgraded back to 201 to get it to work.

I had trouble, as well, today, with Wi-Fi using 210. The Status check showed it was connected to the router but it wouldn't light up and connect to the Internet. Then, for some reason, it connected and has reconnected, even after I left the house and came back.

That's a strange bug to get missed on any sort of preliminary testing, it seems to me.

Does any one know what the latest Non-beta Device OS is for the BlackBerry Bold? I know they come out at a rapid pace but right now I have 4.6.0.185...mainly trying it for Battery life issues with 4.6.0.167 that I saw after having the phone for only 6 hours.

So is the lastest Non-Beta Device OS:

ver 4.6.0.190?
ver 4.6.0.210?

-Thanks-

As of your post, the thread you posted IN, is the latest non-beta OS for the Bold.

See the title "Latest OS".

See the .210 discussion is about beta.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure...I am probably going to upgrade to 4.6.0.190, but I want to test battery life when using 4.6.0.185 for a few more days.

I have been following the nearly religious teachings of this forum with tremendous success throughout my ownership of my beloved Curve. Well, last night I made the leap and got myself a Bold for an early present. This morning, I downloaded DM 4.7 and app 190. As always, following the instructions to a tee has given me a brand new, lightning fast Bold. Far as I can tell, everything works as it should!

Default Multi-lingual or Eng for 4.7 and 190

I'm new to BB and am about to download DM 4.7 and later ver 190 from AVEA. I wonder if any of the conflicts I've been reading about involve installing the English only 4.7 rather than the multi-lingual because the 190 download is only multi-lingual, or is this parsing the thing too fine?

Why not use DM 4.6? I have upgraded the OS on my Bold 4 or 5 times with DM 4.6 with absolutely no problems. As noted above DM 4.7 is not needed with the Bold. I seem to recall that some who have used DM 4.7 may have had complications.

Thanks jimfraser. Just saw JSanders advice above. I'll use what came on the install disk. Must be 4.6.

.210 ftw!
Was running .190 for a week with brutal battery life (1 day at most) - switched to .210 last night. Full day of usage, and I'm down to 85%!! Wifi works flawlessly.

wait is this the same for most people? does everyone have serious battery improvement? if possible i would like not to use beta versions, even if i know this is going to be the next version released, and unaltered, but is there any chance this will be out in the next few days officially?
