Hello,

I know this topic has been discussed at nauseum, but I want to get a general idea of how people view the different US mobile carriers.

No matter what one person says, someone else will have a different experience. No matter what Consumer Reports says, someone will have a different experience.

I hear a lot of people hate the company I work for, and they say the other company is better, but then I go on forums and I see people making the same complaints about other companies and saying we're better.

It's like finding a soulmate, you need the company that makes you happy. And some people will never be happy because ultimately they just want something for free.

I've had all 4 major US carriers. In the order I've used them, oldest first, these are my impressions:

Verizon: Best network, insanely bad customer service.
AT&T: Mediocre network, 3G is slower than it should be, so-so customer service.
T-Mobile: Smallest network of the big 4, but truly excellent customer service. Until recently, EDGE was the best they had for network speed.
Sprint: Excellent network, in part because users roam for free onto Verizon when out of Sprint coverage. I'm impressed with their customer service, and they need it because they can screw up a bill or your account settings faster than you could possibly imagine. Superb network speed.

The best network often depends on where you live. In my area, Verizon has the best coverage and Sprint has less than good coverage with many dead spots.
