I have a blackberry touch storm 2 9550, I need to know how I can show my location and put the correct time I'm on in the blackberry messenger.

Also I need to know what the barcode thing is and if it's safe to use and how to turn that on?

What version of BBM?

Depending upon the device OS and the BBM version loaded ...

Open BBM > Menu Button > Options > Menu Button > About BlackBerry Messenger

Or

From the Home Screen > Options > Applications > Add-On > BlackBerry Messenger > Menu Button > View Properties

Open BBM , press Menu, select My Profile, check the box next to "Show My Location/TimeZone Information"

It's as safe as giving out your PIN. So share it with people with whom you would share your PIN.

While you are in "My Profile" as noted above, scroll to the bottom and click "Display My Barcode".

That's correct. And it only shows your timezone. It doesn't show the time.
