I just got a new phone because of the merger with Alltel and AT&T. It is a Blackberry Curve 9300.

Besides tons of weird gliches the phone is working okay for the most part. However, I cannot receive emails through my school's gmail account. I can send emails from that account from my phone just fine, but any new emails that show up in my inbox (on my computer) do not show up on my phone.

This is strange because I previously had a Blackberry Curve 8300-something model and my email worked just fine. Blackberry claims their end is fine because I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them with no success. I am going to go to the school's tech place tomorrow, but somehow I doubt that if Blackberry can't figure it out -- they can't either.

So what's the deal? What do I do?

Really, what's the point of a blackberry if I can't even get my emails on it?

This assumes that you have a BB data plan properly activated on your account.

Re register on the host routing table and that will resend the service books.

If that fails, do a battery pull.

And if that doesn't work, log into your AT&T BIS account (on the web, not on the phone), delete the account having a problem, log out, log back in and re add the account and resend the service books.
