Couple of questions...

--i am not hearing a call waiting beep when I am on the phone. Is there a way that I could have disabled this? I routinely miss any incoming calls while on a call.

--is there a way to make the LED light up when my phone vibrates?

--is there anyway to make the vibrate stronger?

1. Press the green call key, hit options > call waiting > call waiting enabled: Yes or No?

2. Check your profiles and make sure "repeat notification" is set to LED flashing.

3. I don't think you can make it vibrate any stronger though.

vzw 8830 intrusive call waiting:
when on a call and another person dials me, the first person can tell that i'm receiving a call because the interruptions in the conversation are obvious. the interuptions are much more intrusive, longer, louder than other cell phones. so bad that i often have to ask the first caller to repeat what he just said.

i finally had to have verizon disable call waiting feature.
