It is not there, not lost, just not there. It is no longer on my phone. I can not stress this enough, I am irritated at the blackberry support on my phone, because it is automated, and stupid. How do I recover this, I really need to text, as I get updates from other band members on performances and meetings, please help!

Did you change to a new theme on the phone? Try reverting to the default theme.
Do a battery pull ... take the battery out while the phone is still on , wait for 30 seconds and reinstall the battery. Does that work?

Click on Menu > Show all

That should display all hidden applications / icons. Hope that helps.

Edit: Click on the applications folder. Once it opens, hit the menu key and click on Show all
