I have a BB 8530. Since I updated the BB software I have stopped receiving notifications of missed calls or that I have voicemail messages. I dialed my voicemail this week when my wife asked why I had not returned her voicemail message. When I reached my voicemail I found 7 work related voicemail messages waiting from the last five days. There was no notification either under the messages icon or the SMS MMS icon (where they used to appear) telling me I had those voicemails.

Anyone else have this problem? If you were able to resolve it please tell me how

If you hadn't mentioned the OS upgrade, it sounds like something a battery reset would fix..hung process or lack of resources\memory. Which version of the OS did you upgrade to? Also, any coverage issues?

I've done many battery pulls but they have not helped. The OS currently on the device is version 5.0.0.654.

I have not noticed any coverage change. However, when I came into the office this morning I had an email dated 3:30pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 16th) on my desktop computer that has still not shown up on my Blackberry.

I had the same problem and I contacted Sprint. It seems they are working on a patch to correct the issue.
Question...I no longer get the audible tone when voicemail is received. Did anyone notice that it's not working? They (sprint) said the only issue they are aware of is the lack of visual notifications for voicemail.

In addition since I did the upgrade my calander was all screwed up and I had to edit everything I entered!!!

Well, sorta.

Sprint spent hours "fixing" it, but when they gave me the phone back it still had the same problem.

They finally gave me a new phone with the older operating system on it and told me to make sure I did not update the operating system.

Everything is now back to normal, but on another annoying issue the Blackberry Desktop Manager program stinks. About half the time it takes three attempts to sync the Blackberry with Outlook on my desktop
