9700 os 5...423
Been pretty solid on this os - and the few bugs I've encountered weren't major - but this is -- rebooted device and now all previous SMS threads are combined into one big one under the first contacts name in SMS thread history/mem on my device. Cannot delete it. Messages show independent and correctly if I view sms in/outbox. However they will not open!

Ugh.

Anyone else experiencing this??

Got the same issue on my 8900 after OS 5 installation its a big problem can not be ignored.

Do u have encryption enabled under options/security? If so try disabling and rebooting. I did that and it fixed the immediate issue - still not a permanent fix given that I don't have the option to run encryption unless I disable it everytime I do a batt pull and then re-enable afterwars

Is there a general consensus here that 'Content Protection' on the 9700 (and maybe other OS v5) is causing issues with the SMS database?
