Default Kept email folder

Please Login to Remove!

My Priv has all the latest updates and I had previously set up a 'Kept' folder for emails. The last updates changed the appearance of the Inbox. I just moved a couple of emails to the Kept folder and then could not find that folder. I eventually found a link to all folders, can't remember how, and saw the Kept folder, but it is empty.

Anyone throw some light on this please?

Not sure this will work on a PRIV but generally Blackberry's with a physical keyboard by holding the S key down will allow a search for a file.

Thanks, but that did not work. Before the last update I could access the other mailbox folders from a menu button. But that is no longer the case. The only time I can get to see them is when I select an email in the 'In' box then the 'Move' button appears at the top and that gives a link at the bottom to all the other mail folders. But I cannot access them as it is 'Move' function for the message selected.

I will continue to look for a solution. so far none of the other Forums for blackberry phones seem to have a fix. Apparently the upgrade of various BB phones causes a lot of issues. I would suggest if you have the older OS for the phone, try to do a downgrade.
You might try looking for the previous version on line.

BlackBerry will only further alienate themselves from those who have been loyal for many years and discourage people to get a BB or return to BB.

But I have to say this is not only a retro step by BB, many other big organisations seem to be going backward when trying to go forward. I am experiencing this with the organisation I work for in London.

Many thanks for your help.

Sadly the companies today are all looking for easy way to make big money and spend almost nothing on support or product improvements on older devices. If you look at the cell phone companies who sold out to Google Android and let Google very quickly obsolete the older versions of the OS forcing customers to up date their phones you will also notice Google claims the new versions cannot work on phones older than a couple of years. Apple is doing the same thing with their product line. So Apple and others expect customers to buy $1000 phones every two years, ya sure.

Ever wonder why the batteries are not removable by users? Same reason. Most will buy a new phone when the thing starts to fail charging or wont last for a couple of days .

My Z10 replacement battery cost $7 and a new Z10 on Ebay was about $20. With blackberry dropping the support sites and App site it wont be long before we are all forced to update but as long as the phones I have work I will keep them.

Hope you resolve your issue.
