Default New Bold 9000 please

Please Login to Remove!

I have tried the 9700 and am trying the 9800 right now, but still love the form factor of the 9000 the best. Love the screen, and especially the keyboard. I would love for RIM to make a true 9000 sized replacement, with trackpad and snapdragon processor and 512 mb RAM at least! Throw in OS 6.0 and I am happy. Anyone else want one of these?

Contact RIM at [email address]

I am sure many of their business customers are asking for a specific processor.

I did that last week, no reply. Does anyone have experience with bbsuggestions, them saying anything? Would have been nice to get a short reply and say, yes, we have thousands of request like yours and stay tuned or we have moved on from that size BlackBerry and won't look back.

Oh well...

Default It should work

Well - it should charge for me to say it is a good phone. There are 1000's of posts on the red light / bolt sign with momentary white screen and the company chooses to ignore the customers comments.

Do it while you can? There is someone out there who will wipe you out soon.

If only people had an option to throw this phone on the face of the manufacturer.

- bad charging
- low backup
- terrible track ball
- all hype
- silly phone

Default Yes...

that's the "dream" device and it has to be released on T-MO because UMA is simply unbeatable. this device would put RIM on top all over again.

I wouldn't be opposed to something like this "dream" BlackBerry either that was posted on crackberry's website:

In the meantime I have sold my BlackBerry Torch and went to the iPhone until RIM can get us the device I want.

I want one. Really, that should be the standard of the Bold line, instead of the convergence with the slimmer Curve. RIM should keep both forms in play. I never had a 9000 but I've had (and have) Curves. The 9000 would be ideal for me.

I'm sure they will make something like it. That form factor has been a winner for them

Default 9000 Form Factor

Agree with the original post. The BB 9000 is a great device for email. I carry one on ATT and a 9650 on Verizon. The 9000 is way better for typing but the rollerball is very poor compared to the trackpad.

Ideally I'd like a touchscreen on a 9000 form factor running on Verizon (with a sim chip for when I'm overseas). Is that too much to ask?

As you can see by my profile, I have bailed on RIM and switched to Apple. Love the iPhone too much for navigation, music and apps. I hope RIM can get their act together and not end up like Palm (which I used to love before going to RIM (Treo 650 and 680). Then it was the RIM Pearl 8100, Curve 8320, 8820, 9000, 9700 and 9800. I will check back here once in a while to see what RIM is up to.

looks like the blackberry dakota may also be called a bold, may have similar size. have said elsewhere but am hoping they'll make something similar compatible with at&t's newer network for zippier internet browsing and google maps i use when on road
