i have unlimited international email so i can upload pictures via email to my photobucket acct free (as far as i know haha)

i wanted to know if there is a way to update my facebook status via email.

I know the status comments/msgs i get are via email so im not worried about those.....

just want to update my status.

ok hold up i am confused if its unlimited email the email is using data. so wouldn't that mean he or she has unlimited data for international. data is data email or IM its using your data connection for the information to be sent.

With Tmobile, I don't believe they have an international data plan. The international email plan is designed for people to still receive emails while traveling abroad. So while data is data, at least from the standpoint of Tmobile and/or RIM, there's a difference. And at least with Tmobile, international unlimited email does not equate to unlimited data for international use.

I can attest to this because I had a friend visit me in the Caribbean. He had his Pearl (with BIS), but since he used his device to go online he went home to a $500 bill (no joke).

be warned: lots of hotels charge insane amounts, especially if you're staying in "tourist areas" like versailles for example. in case your hotel is charging tons of money - check out the next starbucks or mcdonalds, they're usually offering free wifi, you don't even need to buy anything. they have unsecured networks. :D

McDonalds is definitely free, and supports use of authenticated SMTP servers, which a lot of other cheapo /free hotsport in france don't as I've found out on my travels.

I had an 'update fbook via sms link' when I logged into my fb account the other day, but didn't bother as I have the app..

Twitter can be updated by mail? Can you tell me how? I know it can by txt, but I would like to use email.
