Why when I am in Landscape and I select num lock isn't there a decimal point on that screen.
We have a comma, which is relatively useless, if I need to type a time or price or whatever I have to switch back to the main keyboard.

End of rant.

Worthy small rant ... I would like a period on that screen as well.

Ha, I was just thinking about this yesterday when I had to text some prices. Never thought of starting a thread about it, but since someone did I might as well put my two cents in. Maybe someone from RIM will read this and make the simple change, making this small rant useful.

I agree there should be a period, however you can still just hit the space key twice and it will insert a period in landscape mode

especially in numbers... Entering a dollar amount (on a transfer screen while online banking for example) requires a decimal point...

The spacebar is a . on my kbd in landscape... Isn't it on yours?

Ah good suggestion I will certainly try that.

"space" "space" "backspace" for "."

I can live with that.

I guess the question should be then: Since the numbers keyboad is full, what would you get rid of on the numbers keyboard, ie "move" to the symbols keyboard or something.
