my bb9900 bold suffered slight water damage, left it to dry for a couple weeks, now works fine untill i lock it or oi automatically locks, goes into black screen and wont come out ov it without resetting it, any help appreciated!!

At this point it is probably shot. When a phone gets wet, the best thing to do is put it in a bag of rice to fully absorb the moisture.
You can try the rice now but highly doubtful it will help
Repair or replace is all that's left if that fails
