Hey,

Does anyone know if there's any way we can customize the warning/error messages a user gets on their handheld. For example if an attachment exceeds the size limit they get the following message:

'Attachment size exceeds server value'

can these types of messages be customized?

Nope, hopefully the size limit message shows up in new handheld software because the clock is kind of misleading.

Whats the new software? I'm using on BES 4.1 using a BB 8707 handheld which is running on v4.1.0.347.

I get a popup message which says

''Attachment size exceeds server value' but no size limit.

So there's definately no way we can change this message? is this message hard coded in the handheld software?

Yes that message is hard coded, there is no way to change it. I guess it must be 4.0 handhleds that are just showing the clock.

The limit can be set (on a GroupWise BES anyway) so the limit can change.

On the 4.o handheld software you get a red cross and a pop up message which says:

'document conversion failed'
