I am having a problem with my device running out of memory, and deleting all my old emails and texts. I put in a media card (2MB), but it is not recognizing it, and using that storage capacity to stop it from deleting emails because of not enough storage space.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A media card can only store media i.e. documents, pictures, music and videos.
It will not increase the available memory.

Pete, is the memory card really just 2mb? I'm thinking that has got to be a typo.....

That device could only take small MB media cards. Otherwise it becomes a compatibility issue.
