it accepts wav files not adp files. please, for the sake of christ, his child, his father, his twin brother, his dead mother, and a lot of other people from the past such as abe lincoln and dirty harry, do a search. hell, just scan down the first page of this subforum. there's a lot of info.

there are 15 threads on the subject. why start another one? why not just reply to one of the already existing ones rather than polluting the forum with another thread with the same questions that have been asked for the last 2 weeks?

This attitude will get you a lot of help as you see. All you are getting is people addressing your attitude rather than answering your question, if I were you I would try hard not to come in and tick people off that could conceivably help you specially after two posts.

And now for some information regarding the fact that you feel it is easier to get noticed starting your own thread, there are a lot of us here that go through all of the new posts, that means new threads and new posts to old threads. You are likely to be seen a lot easier in a thread that is going on rather than a new one simply because when it is new and you read the header and see that it has been addressed 1000 times in the last week, what you do is skip it. On the other hand when it is an old thread you open it and look and see what is going on and you stand a better chance to get a response quicker tht way. Just a little advice from someone who just a few months ago was a newbie here.

That's pretty slick the way you guys hid this answer in the first sticy of the sub forum. I have an officer friend who swears he could sit on the side of the freeway with all his emergency lights and siren on and still get speeders. I believe him now???

Right, but in his case he is better off searching for 7100 minus the i.

C'mon - there must be 50 threads on 7100 ringtones. You want the answer - look in any one of the numerous existing 7100 ringtone threads.

These 2 threads seems very easy to understand. Hopefully, soon, someone will figure out a way to make the ringtones happen. Until then, either find a way to do it yourself or be patient and wait. And while you are waiting call Nextel and give them H*ll. I know I will be doing that becasue I was specifically told that voice ringtones were something that I would be able to do with "no problems".

Good job BlueP, you win the $MIL prize for sooper snooper. now the smart thing to do is continue one of the 7100I treads with findings and ideas so there will be a single point for information as you guys figure the 7100I ringtone situation out. This is all folks are trying to say about all these new treads for the same subject.

That's still no reason to start another thread. It's not just here, HoFo has also been taken over with these type of threads. It's frustrating when new folk just sign-up, start one thread on a topic that has been covered (a lot) and then ***** when they don't get immediate results.

This is a community. People help one another, not expect that the other people here are their personal support representatives. If this is a major issue for you, call Nextel.

Oh, and stop being an such a dick.
