Default A great problem on 9550

Hello.
I've got a problem using BlackBerry 9550 with the MTS carrier in Russia.
I have a 9550, 5.0.0.713 Verizon firmware, MTS sim-card, no dataplans such as BIS/BES. Everything went quite normally till one day when it just stopped to select 2g standard automatically, when losing 3g. The connection just disappears.
When I try to select 2g manually, it sees "MTS 2g H" network just as a fact. When I select it - receive a message saying "Network selection has timed out", and I can't get or send calls or use sms'.
Either upgrading my firmware to 5.0.0.1015 or downgrading it to the earlier version hadn't succeeded.
I went to the MTS office to get a new sim module. It had no effect.
When I launch a network diagnostics application, it shows such a result:

saying "APN list is empty" in the popup.

In the menu in Options / Advanced options / TCP/IP I have APN "internet.mts.ru", login "mts" and password "mts". Everything as it should be.
And it's time to remember: I didn't touch anything, It worked just perfectly, and suddenly I faced this problem.
Please, help me.

So yes. It was set to select the network type automatically. It does not select 2g.
