Default Search Google with Nextel 7510?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm considering the Nextel 7510. It's not clear from what I've read so far whether I will be able to use it to search with Google. Your advice is appreciated.

Someone on Rimroad posted a 411 app that has a Google search built in, you might want to check that out...

Default Thanks and follow-up question

Thanks. So then, one could not easily use Google without a 3rd party app? Best, Lisa.

Its in the Links section of http://wap.blackberryclub.com

You can always get a copy of Reqwireless probably one of the more popular third party browsers for the Blackberry. http://www.reqwireless.com/webviewer.html

Lisa, The Nextel 7510's wap browser has google bookmarked. Granted there are no photos or graphics, but it will give you quick information if that is all you need. I use it all the time.
I also google many things with the WebViewer app. you have probably heard about it. It will give you images and almost all that a desktop broswer will give you.

Thanks, I was also wondering this - 4.0 may be the best option.

Through Nextel's browser you can select Google and choose to search the real web or mobile web.

We did it! We finally installed our BES!!!!

I have been a web client Blackberry user for 1 year and 9 months. Now I am finally a BES server Blackberry user and it is sweet.

The Blackberry Browser that come with the BES is great! I still like WebViewer, however getting to use shortcut keys on the Blackberry Browser make it easier to use than the WebViewer.

I also enjoy the added functionality that I get as far as invite attendee and address book lookup.

All and all a very nice upgrade from the web client.
