My friend just got a Tour from Sprint. He loves it all except he's not being notified when he gets any activity on Facebook. His MySpace works fine, its his Facebook that's not.

App is installed. Not getting any kind of notification except for email but that's only when Facebooks server sents it. Also no updates on the notification tab in the FB app.

As of this afternoon, all of my Facebook notifications have been severely delayed.... around 2-3 hours late. Some don't show up at all.

Probably some service issue between FB and RIM.

My Sprint Tour is receiving FB updates w/o issue. Can the app interact w/ FB otherwise?

so how do you get the facebook app to even show up. sprint tour. it has no themes to change from. but facebook is loaded. and no icon shows up anywhere. not even in downloads or apps folder. there is also no call log icon. so all call logs are mixed with all email in one message icon. even though email has it's own icon. and yes the setting is seperated for all messages.

I recently had my notification preferences just randomly change in FB. Might check the user preferences to make sure they are set the way they want it still.

Facebook totally blows today on my Sprint Tour. If I wasn't getting notificatins, my login would time out everytime I'd click on the FB icon. One try out of 10 in would actually log in, only to tell me my session had expired.

it would fb having issues. i've been having problems on both phone AND pc.

I've found that if i use the FB app, i get no notifications. However, if I use the browser and go to the mobile site, then it resets all of my permissions and I overwhelm my email inbox with detritus! Then i have to go in on the pc and reset everything. Oh well, the joys of being able to access everything everywhere...

The FB app will be in your Social Networking folder.

The call log icon was removed a while back - simply press your green call button to open the call log.

You calls don't have to be logged in your messages folder. You can turn that option off from the Options in the call log.
