Can you view attachments on a BB 72xx or 77xx model? If so does the BB come loaded with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powpoint, PDF and so on? Or do you have to have a BES account? Being the BB's main function and selling point is email it would be very important to me at least to know if a co-worker send me an email with an excel spreadsheet I have the means to view it.
I have a feeling BB's can handle attachments you just need a special service or setup. Thanks in advance.
PS I will be going with ATT but I'm trying to pick a model (7280 or 7780)
When you say near future are we talking in 2004 with the new 3.8 /4.0 software update?
I really want one of these BB's but gee when I'm done paying for all the extra stuff I'll need to take a second out on my mortgage...
It seems strange to me that RIM prides itself on being the BEST email communication tool on the market but what good is email if you can't view an attachment without paying yet another service plan.
I might be viewing this all wrong maybe the biggest portion of BB owners get their units through work and work pays for them. For the rest of us this is a $130 mo email tool???
Please tell me I'm wrong, because I really do think these things are a great tool. (Just VERY expensive)
