It appeared I was not receiving my gmail this morning on my BB. Deleted and re-added the account on BIS website. Seems to be fine since.

I have been having problems since yesterday, I deleted and re-added my account via BIS website but I am still unable to RECIEVE email. I can send them out just fine, and my wife gets all of my emails fine. My wife uses a Pearl on T-Mobile and I have a Curve on ATT.

No problems here. I sent myself a link from work last night and it came to my phone instantly. Been getting emails all day too with no problems.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Do you have multiple accounts? and were you getting those messages?

I have 5 gmail accounts. Only about 2 seem to be giving problems, actually for the past 3 days now!

Sigh, I hope this doesn't become "the norm."

Sorry to keep this thread alive, but my gmail was HORRIBLE today. Is everyone's gmail being crummy, or just certain accounts?

I have 4 gmail accounts on my BIS, they all take turns being crummy.

This is making yahoo much more attractive....

I don't get it. RIM seems partnered with Yahoo on mail, but ATT won't do their IM, and yes I have never had reconcile work within any reasonable time on gmail. Pfft.

Why does yahoo's spam filer SUCK too? They make you pay money to get the REAL, working, spam filter. Great.

The other thing I've noticed with Yahoo is they use greylisting for incoming emails. I have a hosting company and get complaints of mail being delayed to yahoo. Mail logs confirm it and its another resaon I don't want to use them.

I just wish one of these two would get their act together w/RIM.
