Default Skyfire??

Please Login to Remove!

Anybody know a time frame for skyfire on Blackberry. I found a download for the software, loaded it, and it worked. All except for connecting, so no real functionality, just useless software. Any Ideas?........

After that leak They said they would halt production of the application, however later on they said they would resume production on the application, since the leak they have went underground..

So I would suspect no one to know, or at least mention anything is they do know.

I was part of the initial alpha. I believe they were officially only supporting the BOLD and a few other devices.

After the leak and they shut the beta down, I didn't have as much free time and dropped out, so I don't know what they are even doing.

From their website:

Stay tuned
Plans are well underway to bring Skyfire to more phones and launch in more countries.

At this time, we are not commenting on the timeframe for other platforms and countries. To stay up to date, please subscribe to our blog, join our Facebook, or follow us on Twitter.

It's doesn't seem like anything to hold your breathe for.. It will most likely be a WHILE before see anymore from them.

Now was your post truly necessary when someone else already did that...? Seriously.. And you couldn't even provide a link..

One should only provide the link when you say "why don't you Google that?"

Since I'm Googling it for them, they don't need the link.

I thought about Google-ing it, but decided I would rather hear it from the fingers of the capable BlackBerry® community.

Skyfire, to me, says what the Locust cry out when you unleash a mortar on them in Gears of War
