No. This is a GSM/EDGE/UMA device. Other versions of the 8900 (with their own unique model numbers) may be availible later on though.

A side question. I did not have the docking station, so I don't know.. Does the bedside mode come up automatically when you dock? For me, when I use the wallcharger, it goes to regular clock mode. Do you then have to go to options and enter bedside mode manually?

The convenience keys ar move up higher and in my opinion are too high to be very "convenient." The lock button and the mute key are on the top which is fine but the angled top makes it kind of awkward to push them.

the alternative keys to lock/unlock the 8900 keyboard is :

1. lock - hold the 'A*' key
2. unlock - press the 'A*' key follow by Send key.

It works fine on my 8900 ...

Just press 'k' to lock.

But the key on top is not just a keyboard lock; it's standby mode. When you press that top shoulder button, however, as it goes into standby mode, you get the message "Press the Mute key again to exit standby mode." Of course, it's not the Mute key that does it; it's the standby key.
