And the answer is no.....
I tried clicking on that link "GO" after the displayed price "$299.00*" and it brought me to a rather blank page except for the Cingular header and side bar.
I stopped into a corporate store the other day (Thursday ) to inquire and they said they don't have them yet but that they should be getting them in a few days to a week or so.
Why is it that they don't know what the left hand is doing? Unfortunate, but it seems rather like rather poor communication within the company. They each seem to have a different idea as to when it will be available.

Well.... no skin off my nose, I'll patiently wait

Default Buying Direct or through third party?

Newbie question: I see that some people are having a problem getting the 7100g to perform as a modem. In general, are there fewer problems with this if you buy from a third part like eaccess rather than buying directly from Cingular?

It has absolutely nothing to do where you buy the BlackBerry from. If you buy it from eAccess, you are buying a Cingular branded 7290. The same as if you buy it from Cingular. The reason people are having problems is that it is not officially supported by any of the carriers - so if you have a problem, they are not going to help!

sundog - NBO is 800-845-9681. If you don't already have a foundation account, I don't know if they can help you - but it may be worth a try.

RXDI - search for themes. You need to install either the tmobile, vodafone, or default (not the default (list) theme that comes on the 7100g) to get icons.
Hello, just wanted to know the 7100g you got from NBO, is it customized to Cingular or ATTWS? Was it locked? If so, locked to ATTWS I assumed? When there is no ATTWS signal, will your 7100g roam to Cingular, like the voice network does? Thanks and sorry for this long Q.

I got mine two weeks ago from AT&T NBO. It is branded Cingular but the SIM that came with it says AT&T on it. I used the SIM from my existing AT&T 7280. Don't know if it is locked or how to check.....

OK we are making progress.

Now the harder part, do you know if you are getting email from Cingular's network or ATTWS's network? How's the signal for you?

I think it is from AT&T's network, but I'm not sure. I'm having some GPRS issues on my home (Cingular?) network. When I force a manual switch to a "Cingular" network, I get GPRS like a champ. I called Cingular tech support and they said they are having some spotty data outages due to merging AT&T and Cingular.
