I am looking at the Blackberry Horizontal Active Holster from Smart Phone Depot for my 7230. Has anyone gotten one? I would like to know your thought on how difficult it was to remove, how it wears on your belt, etc.

I have one and use it with the 7290, which is a little thicker than the 7230. I like the design, and you get used to removing the BB from this holster fairly quickly. The holster holds the BB very securely, and it fits sbugly on the belt - in fact, it is a little tight getting over a belt, but there is no chance it will slide off.

My only design issue is that if you have a wired earpiece connected, you can not easily remove the BB, since the wire can get tangled.

Outside of that, I really like the horizontal holster.

Thanks ... Does the belt clip swivel? Did you see PDF diagram? Do you push the BB up and then pull it out?

The belt clip is fixed. You do lift the BB slighly to remove it from the case - pretty simple. Fits the 7230 very well.

Hello I got the case and I really like it. Problem was the day it arrived I had lost my BB on the bus. Luckly it got returned and it has a new home.

Things I like is it can not come out no matter how you knock it or even if you jump. It hugs your body close so you do not notice. I am trying to get used to getting it ou of the holster but I will get the hang of it.
