Default Meeting requests not received

Please Login to Remove!

I've been working with BES since v3.6 and have encountered many problems, but today I have something I have never seen before. The BES in question is running 4.0, we have a mixture of BB handhelds out there and I have got hold of an 8700 for testing. The problem is with meeting requests, they are simply not delivered to the device for any user.

I tried restarting the BES and resent service books to my test handset, then I sent myself a meeting request and nothing appeared. The console is not showing anything pending or filtered.

I have checked the cdo.dll versions on BES and Exchange, they are the same versions (6.5.7638.2).

We did shut down an old exchange server that was also a DC this week, I'm sure this problem is related but am not sure how, unfortunately switching the old server back on is not an option.

Anyone have any thoughts or experienced anything similar before?

OK quick update, I have this in my BB MGMT logs:

Code:
[30002] (02/08 11:35:19):{0x11D0} Server = betemp01, Mailbox = /O=MyOrg/OU=LOrg/cn=Recipients/cn=oncall Description = The information store could not be opened. [MAPI 1.0 - [MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED(80040111)]].
[30180] (02/08 11:35:19):{0x11D0} {oncall} CDOCalendar::Initialize - Error in call m_spCalendarFolder = m_spCDOSession->GetDefaultFolder.
[40000] (02/08 11:35:19):{0x11D0} CDO initializing failure in CDO helper 04c4dfd8 (1)
I am now certain that this is to do with the Exch/DC server being shut down earlier this week. I also had a look in the registry on the BES and found tons of references to this server. I'm not going to go hacking the registry btw, just thought this info would be useful.
