All of a sudden, when I send pics via bbm to another bbm user it is prompting them to accept my pic. Also, the opposite is true where I have to accept someones pic to preview it. Using .57 bbm on 5.0.0.419 BlackBerry Tour. What gives?

That is the way it is, no changing it.

How can that be? I had the same device before (and it didnt do it) I briefly switched to the Curve 2 (which didnt do it) and then switched back only to have it happening again.....it has to be one of the dumbest features I have ever seen on a blackberry.

It's called an upgrade. Some are not very good.

I've noticed that sometimes I have the option to 'Preview' a pic that's sent to me thru BBM (.57) and sometimes I don't - I have to download it.

I'm not sure, though, what causes it to behave differently. The people that are sending me the pics also have .57.

Yes, it is very frustrating.....i even accept them and they either dont come in or they appear to the sender as if i declined it. So irritating.

I found out that it only happens to me when sending pictures to other folks that are using BBM 5.0. I am trying to find an OTA link for 4.7 BBM.

I did read your post but aparently you did not read mine. As i said, it's an upgrade and some are not good. Because you dont like it does not change the fact RIM made changes to the application

I've got a 9000, OS 4.6.0.303, and bbm .57. rarely do i get the option of just accepting the file, most times (and these are users who use .57 as well), i've been able to preview and then accept if i want. users with older versions of bbm sometimes give the option of preview, but most times i have to accept the file, but that's hardly ever.. so it can happen if bbm is being temperamental.
