I've got a single user who will not activate and it is driving me crazy!!! I can assign the device from the BES Manager on my computer and once the device "Initiates" the activation it does not do anything besides list everything as provisioning.

What I've done thus far:

• Remove User from Bes
• Wipe device
• Add user back to BES
• Assign Device to user on BES
• Now I have changed devices by MOVING the line to ta new 8830 to see if this makes a difference.

Environment Details:
Exchange 2003
BES 4.1.2
MS SQL2003

Well in EA, there are a couple of stages namely:
1. Activation
2. Verifying encryption
3. Receiving services
4. Slow synchronization

Which stage is it stopping at? Does it ever go to "Activating" ... then "verifying encryption" ... that sort of thing? If you say that it lists everything as "provisioning", it sounds like you reach the slow synchronization stage. Did you try to disable slow sync for this user and try activating?
