Can BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 Service Pack 4 Maintenance Release 5 for Microsoft Exchange be installed on top of 4.1.2? or Must I install SP4 then SP4 MR5?
@centrekin, you will need to update to SP4 then MR5.
@bakerfall, it was known and speculated by many, typically from first-hand experience with the issue or from information provided by RIM and/or carrier partners. However, RIM has yet to announce publically as to what happened with the most recent delay with SP5 (on top of at least 3-4 previous release date slips).

...that's quite the disclaimer notice to have on a public KB article. I've yet to see that from RIM before and it seems like this article may not have been intended for public viewing. Who knows, but I have a feeling it may be pulled.
